On 30th April, 2021 Loreto Day School Elliot Road celebrated Support Staff Day to thank all our dear Support Staff members who work day and night for us.
The program started with the girls thanking the staff members for their hard work. A special assembly was shown to us about the life of Saint Joseph, father of Jesus. We remember him as a humble worker who really worked hard as a carpenter for his family and the Will of God. Then we had the prayer service in English, Hindi as well as in Bengali. This was followed by a prayer dance by the students of the senior section. A beautiful Bengali song was sung to thank our real-life heroes. One of the Junior school teachers, Mrs. Rajashri Pal thanked our support staff members for their help. A beautiful dance performance explained how our country depends on our soldiers likewise we also depend on our Support Staff. This program ended with the Senior School Coordinator, Mrs. Bhattacharjee as well as our Principal Sr. Clara addressing the participants with hearts filled with gratitude towards their relentless spirit and dedicated work.
It was wonderful to see how the students expressed their love to the staff members through their performances. This indicated that our Support staff is the backbone of our Institution.
