Description: BOSCO CHRIZ 2024 Organized by: YOUNG CHRISTIAN STUDENTS (YCS), DON BOSCO SCHOOL, PARK CIRCUS Don Bosco School, Park Circus held the 14th edition of its annual school fest "Bosco Chriz" for all Christian students on the 4th of May, 2024. The theme for this year was "Those who hope in the Lord will run and not be weary." - Isaiah 40:31. The theme is an invitation and a reminder to the youth that they must trust God. It encourages believers to have faith and hope in God's promises. A total of 33 participants from our school attended the fest. We were accompanied by Ms. A. Perris who was with us throughout the event. Registration started at 7:30 AM in the school reception. A holy Mass was conducted at 8:00 AM. It was followed by a welcome speech given by the school Principal. Then there was a bouquet presentation to the invited guests and judges, and the grand event began. First there were three off-stage events - (i) Chriz Contentionz (debate), (ii) Chriz Quiz (quiz), (iii) Chriz Secondz (GI60); and one on-stage event - Chriz Stringz (singing). It was a truly mesmerizing performance as the audience sat glued to the show. There were around 13 participating schools that showcased their talents. Sharp at 10:00 AM, three more off-stage events took place - (i) Chriz Cardz (card-making), (ii) Chriz Rhymez (poetry-making) and (iii) Chriz Treasurez (Treasure Hunt). We were guided to various classrooms for all the off-stage events while the on-stage events took place in the school auditorium. There was a delay due to which lunch was served at around 1:15 PM. By 2:30 PM, all of us moved back to the auditorium for Chriz Skitz (skit performance). Schools displayed meaningful acts that kept the audience entertained. The skit was followed by Chriz Groovez (dance event). The spirit of religion and enthusiasm was well exhibited by the students. The audience was highly active and each school cheered for its respective participants. There was a special performance by the gospel band, Messengers. The audience was invited to come forward to the dance floor. We all moved to the beats of the band that played various religious and gospel songs. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable event for all of us. The fest ended with the award ceremony around 7pm.
