Description: Lower Nursery began their activity with first watching a story 'The Thirsty Crow'. They actively took part and answered all the questions that were asked. They then played with puzzles, blocks and started fixing toys in their individual groups. They enjoyed themselves. Nursery had a colouring activity and watched a movie ' Say Cheese'- Masha and the Bear. The children thoroughly enjoyed the activity and the movie. KG had two activities planned for the day. The first activity was the 'Sequins Sticking' Activity. The children were given clear instructions and they did the art work really well. Next, was a 'Fruit Salad' Activity which was carried out by KG (1) only .They helped the teacher to wash the fruits and peel bananas. They enjoyed helping out and relished the fruit salad. KG. (2) did a colouring activity wherein a butterfly and tortoise were drawn on the board for them to draw and colour. Class 1 had a story telling activity where children came up in front of the class and narrated their favourite stories. This helped them gain confidence. Class 2's had a 'Just A Minute' Session where the children were given a topic and they had to speak on it for a minute. The children were absolutely amazing as they used new vocabulary while talking. It was a delightful session. Then they had a craft activity where they made photo frames and pasted pictures of themselves. They used their creativity and imagination to create beautiful photo frames. Children of Class 3 had a Mental Maths Activity and a paper folding craft activity. The students enjoyed both the activities and showcased their creativity in the craft activity. The students of Class 4 both sec i and sec ii first had a storytelling activity where the children had used props to narrate a story to their friends. They also asked questions on the story they narrated. They then had a craft activity in which they made a picture out of paper foldings and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Classes 5 (i) and 5 (ii) began with a reading activity where some students brought story books from their homes and some took story books from the Book Corner to read. They were called up to read according to their roll numbers and were graded . As this was going on, the girls who had given up their names for chess and sudoku for the Van Mahotsav Celebration in St. Xavier's Collegiate School, were made to compete with each other in order for us to choose the participants for the event. Once the reading activity was done, the girls began their craft activity where they made copies and notepads using left-over papers from their previous years' notebooks.
