Description: On 10th January, 2025 Loreto Day School, Elliot Road hosted a Bengali Elocution Competition to enrich the creativity of the students in the art of recitation. The competition began by invoking God's presence through a song followed by a prayer. All the classes of the middle section actively participated in the competition according to their House divisions. The judges Mrs. Mondal and Mrs. Kar shared their valuable advice coupled with words of encouragement. The results were announced by our Principal Sister Banisha wherein Mother Teresa House stood first, followed by Mary Ward House, Rabindranath Tagore House and finally Subash Chandra Bose House. It was truly an experience which gave the students an opportunity to express themselves in a creative manner in the rich regional language, Bengali.
