Description: The Senior School Christian students of Loreto Day School, Elliot Road, presented a morning assembly celebrating the august occasion of Christmas on 17th December 2024 at the Senior School ground. The assembly started with readings from the Holy Bible followed by an interpretation of the significance of Christmas symbols such as star, holly, wreath and so on. This was followed by a short skit based on Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol'. The purpose of this skit was to elucidate the true meaning of the spirit of Christmas. The values of humility and generosity were emphasised upon. The assembly concluded with a few beloved Carols. The assembly was a blend of reverence towards Christ and a celebration of Christmas cheer.
