On 7th December, 2024, our school had a joyful celebration of Advent for the parents of the catholic students with the theme "For Unto Us a Child is Born."
Students, parents and teachers came together to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas with a special Advent Mass, followed by a series of festive events.
The mass was offered by Father Anto. In his inspiring homily, the significance of Jesus' birth, was reflected emphasizing that the coming of Jesus is a precious gift to humanity. He encouraged us to recognise and cherish this gift, and to share it with others through acts of love, kindness, and generosity.
The students of the Junior section then took center stage with a captivating Nativity play, beautifully depicting the birth of Jesus Christ. Their enthusiastic performance was met with thunderous applause from the audience.
Sister Banisha, our principal, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of the season and the values of love, kindness, and generosity that it embodies.
The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by the melodious carol singing by the students of the Senior Section, which filled the air with excitement and the spirit of Christmas.
The excitement reached its peak with the arrival of Santa Claus, who brought joy and cheer to the children.
The evening concluded with refreshments offered to the parents, students and the staff.
The event was a resounding success, thanks to the tireless efforts of the students, teachers, and staff. The students' outstanding performances and enthusiasm made the celebration truly unforgettable.
