Description: On 30th August,2024, a Mathematics Workshop (ICSE AND ISC LEVEL) on Professional Development was organised by AHAIS held at La Martiniere for Girls Kolkata. The resource persons for the event were Mrs. R. Mukherjee and Mrs. S. Saha (from La Martiniere) The workshop was attended by the senior section Mathematics teachers. The event was for three and half hours where newly introduced COMPETENCY FOCUSSED QUESTIONS were mainly discussed. The following areas were focussed: How to frame the CFQ questions Method of framing distractors Reason-Assertion type questions Common errors in making questions Finding the domain of competency This was an enriching learning experience. We are grateful to our respected Principal Ma’am for providing this great learning experience to the teachers.
