Description:
The Frank Anthony Memorial All India Inter School Debate was held on July 15th, 2024, at Garden High School for category 2. A team of two students from class 10 fervently participated in the event. The debating arena provided the students with a platform to articulate their ideas on a thought-provoking topic - the implications, benefits, and challenges of mankind's search for a new habitable realm.
The debate was a captivating spectacle for both the audience and the participants. The eloquence and precision with which the students expressed their viewpoints imbued the discourse with a fascinating elegance. For each individual, the allotted speaking time evolved into a rebuttal, where the insatiable inquiries of the contestants were addressed with a sense of satisfaction.
Exploring the diverse interpretations of the multifaceted topic, the opposition and proposition teams staunchly defended their respective stances, bolstering their arguments with unequivocal facts.
As the debate drew to a close, the anticipation of the audience was rewarded with the announcement of the winners. To our utmost delight, Loreto Elliot Road secured the first runner-up position for the best speaker.
The hall reverberated with thunderous applause, as each participant returned with a renewed intellectual fervour and a heightened desire to hone their skills to an even greater sheen.
