Description: Van Mahotsav is an annual tree-planting festival in India, celebrated in the first week of July. It was also celebrated in Loreto Day School, Elliot Road through a huge event on 14th of July 2015. End number of events took place in a joyous way like a skit programme, a short presentation on the historic Chipko Movement & a dance programme was organised. Teachers, Sisters & students, planted plants for the welfare of the eco-system. Junior school students made rakhi to tie the trees and hug them to convey their love towards greenery. Finally programme concluded with an Earth dance where all students including teachers and Sr.Nirmala (Principal) participated.
