Description: It is often said that the best period in the life of anyone is the time that he spends in school. This is, undoubtedly, golden era, which he recollects nostalgically for the rest of his stay in the world. And this golden period of Loreto Day School, Elliot Road came to its sudden end on the 27th of September, 2014, which was his last day at school. Since it was the day of parting from Sisters & Teachers, the farewell party was heart-breaking, as his career in the school was drawing to a close. It was the time to leave for good, where he had spent successful & great years of life. The farewell had to take place in the Junior school hall, decorated with lights. The seats were arranged in an order & and all senior class students were at the front. Though there was an atmosphere of joy and excitement, yet it was tinged with an air of melancholy and sadness. All students were in their uniforms. This was the first time in the span of so many years he felt so special among us. Though sad, but feeling great, they all occupied our seats and the function started. In the beginning, there was a dance programme, then a skit play by junior school students & followed by a tribute which was given to Glenn Sir by the Principal of our school. This was followed by the students of the 12th class who displayed a remarkable theatre play. After that speeches were given by Principal followed by Mr. Glenn. Refreshments were also organized.
