Description: The day began with an assembly on “Inclusiveness and Acceptance”. Workshop " On the wild Side " conducted by Ms Ashwika Kapur had the audience glued while Richa Wahi's workshop on Rhyme Time for the class VIs was highly appreciated. While the class VII's had Ms Subha Das Mollick for ' From Page to Screen' , the workshop, " Broadcast Blast" By RJ Bryan Kerr was hosted for the class VIII's. Sr. Christine Coutinho, our Chief Guest for the day was present for the Centre Stage where each school put up a prepared performance of their choice. We were privileged to have with us the principals of the three participating schools - Loreto Bowbazar, Loreto Dharamtala and Loreto House. Each performance put up was much appreciated. After the Vote of Thanks for this session, the break commenced. The last session, an on- stage event titled, “Broadcast Blast " commenced to a packed audience. Mr. Jimmy Tangree and RJ Bryan Kerr took away our heart beats. The children and teachers enjoyed this session to the fullest. When Mr. Tangree said that he would talk about this on air on 91.9 FM Dil Se, the applause was unstoppable. He also offered a two hour workshop at the studio on being a RJ. His mantra that study and pursue your dream is a lesson that children took along with them. With this, curtains were drawn on "Words and Beyond". “Words and Beyond” created History.
