Description:
The LER Rainbow Home Christmas Celebration was held on 10th December 2016 from 10:00 am. It started with a short prayer by a teacher and student followed by a prayer dance by our Rainbow Girls.
After this Felicita Kujur sang a beautiful Christmas Carol, then they performed a beautiful Bengali dance followed by the Nativity Play in Bengali.
The programme ended with dancing to Jim Reeves Christmas Polka and Bara Din.
The Sisters of our Loreto House, Fr. Abhay, Our Principal, Mrs. Keya A. Prabal, Mr. & Mrs. S. Mirza, Mrs. Zeba Israr, Ms. Seema, The Cognizant Team, Mr. P. Mishra, the Karate Sir and Mrs. S. Govindraj, Senior School Coordinator, Mrs. N. Biswas, Junior School Coordinator and staff of Loreto Elliot Road School n the LER Rainbow Home and others were part of this celebration. Mrs. Keya A. Prabal congratulated the children and staff for the beautiful progamme and Sr. Sushila, Project In - charge gave the Vote of Thanks.
The guests were served coffee and snacks at the end of the programme.
Sr. Lourdes distributed small gifts n lunch packet (Chicken Biryani) which was sponsored by Mr. & Mrs. S. Mirza to all the children of the Home.
In the evening the children were treated to cake, bhujia (sponsored by Mr. Mirza) and chocolates (sponsored by Mrs. Zeba Israr)
Naaz Khatun played a tune on the violin and Aditi played a tune on the keyboard, everyone enjoyed it and applauded them for their talent.
Thank you one and all for making this event a grand success by your kind presence, it means a lot to our staff and children.
