Description: Every day, around 474 people die in India due to traffic accidents—that’s about one death every three minutes. On February 13th and 14th, 2025, as part of Traffic Safety Week , the LTS girls from Class 8-II created posters highlighting road safety rules, the dangers of reckless driving, and the importance of following traffic signals. Instead of keeping our efforts within the school, we took our posters outside the school gate, holding them high to encourage people to stop, look, and think before making decisions that could affect their safety and others’. We emphasized key *traffic rules* such as following traffic lights, using zebra crossings, and avoiding mobile phones while driving. Road safety is everyone’s responsibility. Small actions, like wearing a seatbelt or helmet, can save lives and prevent tragedies which might change your life and the life of the others forever.
