Description: An online webinar from the Mary Ward JPIC Office was held on 13th November 2024 which focused on ecological education and sustainability. It began with a prayer and a song, celebrating nature and addressing our shared responsibility to protect the environment. Mary Ward communities from Peru, the UK, Australia, Spain, Argentina, and Loreto Nyakato shared their projects on conservation, recycling, and energy-saving, encouraging practical steps toward sustainability. Kehkashan Basu from Canada then shared her experiences on how environmental care can bring peace. Following her talk, participants had the chance to ask questions, sparking deeper conversations on practical ways to protect the planet. This engaging webinar brought together voices from around the world, inspiring participants to renew their commitment to a healthier and more sustainable world for all.
