Description:
The members of the' Hindi Joytsna Club' of La Martiniere for Boys organised an Inter School Patriotic Meet on 17th August, 2024. There were 26 participating schools and all of them presented marvelous patriotic performances through their dance and singing which raised a spirit of patriotism in all of us.The program started with a speech by one of the students of LMB proceeding with various performances by all the 26 schools. We presented a fusion of classical and contemporary dance representing the strong and calm aspect of Mother India. Also there were various talks about patriotism and independence of our country. The chief guest for the program were COL Avishek Mukherjee, the commanding officer of 53 Bengal battalion NCC and Laender Paes, the Indian tennis player, who also represented India in Olympics in 1996. He shared his experience as he has been a student of the school and congratulated the students for their wonderful performance and successful program. All the schools were honoured with a momento and certificates. It was a great experience to be a part of this program. We would like to thank our principal ma'am Mrs J G Surana who gave us the opportunity to be a part of this program and would like to thank Mrs.Verma for her constant support and guidance.
