Description: The teaching staff of the Junior Section attended a one -hour session on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy conducted by Mrs. M. Dias on 18th February at 2:30pm in the Audio-Visual room. This session primarily helped each teacher revisit this concept which was envisaged by the National Education Policy 2020. Through a well thought out powerpoint presentation, Mrs. Dias shared how to implement FLN specially at the pre primary and Primary levels. The teachers were also informed that they might need to share with others, the various ways and means in which they have been practising FLN in their classrooms or in the teaching - learning process at large. It was an interesting session for each one of the teachers and it aided them in recalling what they had learnt about FLN before.
