Physics Fest at Sister Nivedita University, New Town

Description: On 13th August 2024 , students of classes 9 and 10 participated in a Physics Fest at Sister Nivedita University, New Town . Two students from each class participated in the Quiz Competition and three from each had participated in the Model Making Competition on the topic ' Sustainability for Future' . The first event was a lecture on ' Cosmic Horizon ' given by Dr. Debiprasad Duari which amazed the students and piqued their interests further in the subject. The day was then followed by a series of hands-on Physics Experiment by Abhijit Bardhan which was really informative. Class 10 students made a model on Coastal Village and the Class 9 students made a model on Conservation of Water. An Eco friendly Coastal Village model made by class 10 students was awarded with 2nd position. It gave the students a complete new learning experience. We would like to thank our principal ma’am Mrs J G Surana for giving us this amazing opportunity.
