Description: 21st of March was an eventful day for the students of Loreto Day School, Elliot Road as we entered the world of science and technology through our science exhibition entitled “Land of Curiosity”. The science exhibition had collaborated with the Junior School Art exhibition aiming to foster creativity amongst all. The school hall was decked up with models and experiments all waiting to amaze the visitors. The posters of eminent scientists on the campus helped reminisce their immense scientific contributions towards the society. The event was inaugurated by Sr. Powlin and Sr. Clara who successfully instilled the mantra of the day, “The change starts with us...” to motivate the children. The students were ecstatic to ace their presentations and impressed everyone with their flamboyance, confidence and intellect. The visitors felt no less than walking down a laboratory where curiosity is always activated among the passionate scientists. Most of them poured out their ample praises and appreciation as they were bewitched by the brilliant work on display. The day drew to an end with vibrant smiles on the faces of our budding scientists cementing their active roles in shaping the future of the nation with their innovative contributions. A huge congratulations to the entire team of the science teachers and students who realized this vision and made this a huge success. A special mention of gratitude towards our Principal Sister Clara who always stood by our side as our pillar of inspiration and support.
