ORIENTATION FOR 6TH SUBJECT CHOICE

Description: The morning of 13th February, 2021 was filled with anticipation. After all, in a month's time we would be going to class IX. Decision on the choice of our 6th Subject was playing on our minds. So, when the school arranged this session, parents and we were at ease. Things would be clearer and we would make an informed choice. The session began with an introductory session which was coupled with the Prayers segment comprising of an original poetry composition and it's recitation, a dance recital, prayers from Holy books, role play by parents with a parent reading live the prayers for us. The second segment was the one where are attention was totally glued to. The respective subject teachers prepared the class IX students on the scope of those choices with break up of marks clearly outlined. The presentations in Computer Applications, Economic Applications and Home Science were through Power Points, Videos and live presentations. The Question and Answer session thereafter quelled our curiosity and we had our doubts ably answered by our seniors. Sr. Marilla D’Souza’s presence and words were a true reflection of all what the school dies for us The Vote of Thanks by our Middle School Coordinator, Ms. Handa boosted us. We felt happy when our efforts (all students of classes VIII and IX) were commended along with the appreciation for our parents. With that, the Google form link was posted where we have to give our options and submit to the school. We truly felt that we were grown up and were in a position to take a collective informed decision. We thank our school - Principal, Vice Principal, teachers and seniors for organising this.
