Description: On the 14th of November Children's Day was celebrated by the students and teachers of Loreto Day School. The programme was introduced by the principal of our school, Sr.Marilla D'Souza. A meaningful prayer sevice followed the introduction. After this the teachers danced to a medley of rhythmic folk songs. A powerpoint presentation in which the teachers childhood photographs were shown and the children had to guess the teacher's name was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The children were overexcited to see their teachers dressed in school uniforms enacting a classroom scene. The skit was followed by a presentation of class photographs with appropriate captions. This was followed by a fusion dance to foot tapping music. The children were enthralled by the performance of their teachers. The programme ended with a lively greeting song. Sr.Marilla thanked the teachers for making this day so special for the children and congratulated them at their outstanding performance.
