Description: The street play "Pitrisatta" presented by Loreto Elliot Road is based on the issue of patriarchy. The students have attempted to show how patriarchy has dominated the lives of people around them leaving them with no freedom to live on their own terms. The play, however, ends on an optimistic note. ‘Pitrisatta’ aims to promote Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG 16) set by the United Nations which talks about reduced inequality and encourages active participation amongst stakeholders of our society thereby creating Global Citizens.
